Azerbaijan Sends 82 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Iran

Azerbaijan has delivered 82 tons of humanitarian aid to neighboring and friendly country Iran, aimed at addressing the current needs of its population. The shipment consisted of 76 tons of food products, 4 tons of medicine, and 2 tons of medical supplies.

According to APA, the aid delivery was planned following a phone call between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

The assistance was transported using five trucks, and ahead of the Nowruz holiday, the shipment also included gifts and various celebratory items appropriate for the occasion.
